Living in Amsterdam reminded me of living in Seattle. It was eminently livable, full of competent and industrious people, enjoying their entrepeneurial spirit. It rained, allot, the year I was there; and yet it was pretty, and it was a pleasure. It also had its romantic moments. Which is what I read about, in this post.
