Popular Seattle-based Singer-Pianist has worked regularly at Saltys On Alki (15 Years, Resident “Weekend Brunch
Pianist”)  Columbia Tower Club, Canlis (Seven New Years Eve Galas), Aqua/El Gaucho, the Fairmont, and “First Thursday Pianist” at Washington Athletic Club since 2015, and a 20-week Engagement of Fridays at “Torchy’s” (2021).His one-man show about a ‘life at the keys’ titled “HANDS SOLO: Pianoman” (directed by Lori Larsen) debuted at NYC’s the Duplex and sold out its two-week engagement in ACT Theatre’s 2014 Season, Palm Springs’ Arthur Newman Theatre, and at Yale University/Cabaret (2008).

Janusz’ FIVE studio CD & Digital Recordings include  “A Song To Love…” (2020) “Cafe Pluvieux” (2018),
“Living In A Blue State”(2015), “Cosmo Street”(2005) and “Hands Solo (Instrumentals)” (2002).  His VJ BAND–fusing rock, blues and jazz– has headlined at Highway 99 Blues Club,  Tula’s Jazz Club, the Royal Room, Tulalip Casino, A Bite of Seattle Festival, North End Jazz Walk, Boeing Museum of Flight, to name a few venues!

He has been a Special Guest alongside such musical acts as Harry Shearer & Judith Owen Band, Julia Fordham,
Duffy Bishop Band @ Teatro Zinzanni, Billy Joe Huels, jazz greats Nora Michaels, Greta Matassa and El Vez –among others.

Janusz released an Original Holiday Single in 2020: “Fruitcake Blues” A Duet with Grammy-nominated blues star Duffy Bishop. A Career Retrospective Collection of the Singer-Songwriter’s Best Original Tunes was released in 2020, titled “A Song To Love: Music & Lyrics of Victor Janusz 2004–2020”.

Janusz began his fulltime arts career in the American Theatre, between Seattle and New York City in 1980. By 1986 he established residence in Seattle, and was Artistic Director of TRIAD Ensemble Theatre (1987-94) a Small Equity company. In 1991, Janusz addressed the First International Conference of ‘Psycho-Social Aspects of HIV/AIDS’, and has also lectured at the University of Washington, MFA Program: “Making A Life in the Theatre”. He has taught theatre in project-driven workshops at Centrum Foundation/Port Townsend, and the Bush School.  He is the Recipient of a National Endowment for the Humanities Award for his adaptation of an Ibsen Classic, and has received grants from 4-Culture Arts of King County and Langston Hughes Arts, among others.
For fifteen years (Since 2006) , he has incorporated “Music Therapy” to enrich the lives of people facing stroke rehab, dementia & Alzheimer’s disease.
