America. Messy, precarious at present, but I’m proud to be the product of such ‘an experiment’.

For 20 yrs I’ve cooked Mediterranean, I just like it…here’s a photo of my risotto with basilico and prezzemolo, basil and parsley – al dente – of course.

As one guest said, “I can taste it in between my teeth”

Tonight, as I cooked my risotto, I listened to Justice Stephen Breyer talk about the experiment that is America.

This is always how I think of my former home, from far away. It’s messy, precarious at present, but I’m proud to be the product of such a glorious experiment.
