The Gary Lachman Interview

(Reposting Interview with Gary Lachman because he has a new book called “Dreaming Ahead of Time: Experiences with Precognitive Dreams, Synchronicity and Coincidence”)

“Lachman writes about philosophical and mystical ideas with exceptional grace, forcefulness and clarity.” – The Washington Post. ”

The NYT – “Gary Lachman makes ideas thrilling”.

Once upon a time Gary played bass guitar for Blondie. Today he’s a fantastic conversationalist and speaker; he continues to entertain, writing for the Guardian and other literary magazines. Gary’s tour dates are available at along with his books and various writing.

Gary Lachman has written over 20 books on consciousness, esotericism, imagination and the occult, and covered dozens of philosophers including Goethe, Jung, Rudolf Steiner, Swedenborg and Hermes Trismegistus.

For those times when you need to think outside of the box, for work or play, you’ll want to have a listen. I think he has the most insane way of synthesising ideas.

The beginning and end credits of this week’s episode belong to a song Gary wrote for Blondie called, “I’m always touched by your presence, Dear”, and I think our listeners will be too…it was an honor to have him on our podcast.
