Would you like me to read to you? If so, here’s a slice of life in Paris

As we sit in between two ballots, between two election days in France, here’s a slice of life in Paris.

If you miss the place, or if you’re planning a trip or just want to get away from politics and the war of the world – I give you the city of distractions.

Moliere, the Marais, and the seasons. When summer hits the streets of Paris, and protocol takes flight – the place is no longer tidy. Especially on June 21st, the longest day of the year, when summer solstice inspires musicians and singers and electric guitars to occupy every single corner of the inner city from late afternoon to well past midnight.

The noise deafening, sleep’s outta the question so you might as well get into the swing of things…life in le lumiere.
