Today is little Easter in Italy; Pasquetta. A time for thanks

I for one will make an attempt to be thankful all day long, for happy moments from the past and for the happy moments I will try and make today. And celebrate greatly.

I will not listen to the news and read about people cheering on war from their armchairs eating popcorn. I will write about magical places like Piemonte that have more bio diversity than anywhere, in a country full of bio diversity, of artisans, where the pasta is al dente and the coffee tastes like a milkshake.

in a country of people than can be operatic but choose to lower the temperature if only to keep the peace.

A country that acts like a balm. A state of mind, a culture of feeling blissfully mild.
