All my walls

From Seattle to Rome to Paris, we moved our stuff and I stuck ’em on the walls. Found objects found all over again, making each new space feel like home.

….to Prague

to Amsterdam

and Bucharest.

We rented boxes, and I filled them with personal treasures. As renters, I could only cover the walls with pictures.

But moving to Italy, finally we settled own, we owned spaces once again. So I could paint. I almost always paint my walls a shade of blue. It’s a healing color. Which makes sense as Italy tends to act as a balm.

I’m now working on another wall. I’ve been waiting 20 years to paint this place, our little escape on the lake. It’s the size of a quarter and it’s practically perfect. At least it will be.

Will it be my final wall? Who knows, but one room will be blue….
