Spent about a decade driving across Europe’s borders and it sure was worth it

Driving through all her borders, this truly was a highlight of a nomadic life; informing and amplifying cultural realities, often illuminating why there’s so much solidarity in the European Union.

It’s also awfully pretty.

When we lived in Prague I used to drive to Vienna, only took about 3 and 1/2 hrs by car. Where i could stand in line and listen to the Viennese whisper Klimt and Schiele in the same way they whispered Mozart. : )

This foto was taken while driving through Central Bohemia en route to Austria, passing through one of many atmospheric towns, this one’s called Český Šternberk
