Classic Baroque
At the bottom of our street there’s a lovely example of Baroque architecture. Octagonal, with 5 alters, beautiful frescoes, and built in 1603. Lit candles and I do so love living in Italy.

Meanwhile on Lake Garda
The combination of mountainous landscape and thermal winds lends to dramatic storms; they’re gorgeous and spontaneous this time of year. They don’t last long but what a show. Northern Italy needs rain and gratefully – we’re getting plenty.

Listening to the trees
It’s a process I enjoy along a walk with Gigi and Gaston. Or when on my bike doing daily errands. Yet once I’ve arrived home they seem to come into our house, reminding to continue. They whisper from outside, “open the window, listen for awhile longer…” They talk to one another, these trees. Sound travels…
