Fernando Botero, a Colombian artist who developed a signature style painting rotund, inflated yet sensuous figures with a whimsical or satirical edge, and who branched into monumental sculptures that adorned some of the world’s most famous boulevards, died Sept. 15 at a hospital in Monaco. He was 91.

I’ve seen his pieces along my travels and they are divine. I caught this at Chatsworth on a road trip I took from Brittany, France to the Highlands in Scotland.
Crossing borders is like crossing identities. From France the ferry took me to the white cliffs of Dover, up through the UK, stopping along the way. The Peak District, hitting Chatsworth, then up to Scotland. Along with Godot until I met my guy and friends in picaresque parish in the southern highlands.
Just when I don’t think I miss travel I think I might be up for another road trip.

Hello exceptional website! Does running a blog similar to this take
a lot of work? I have very little understanding of programming but I was hoping to start
my own blog in the near future. Anyhow, if you have any recommendations or tips for new blog
owners please share. I understand this is off topic but I simply
had to ask. Thanks a lot!
