Here I am riding the elevator, going up, getting older, sliding in to 60 and suprised to say it feels just fine.
This last trip, we stayed @ The Hilton in Venice, a 5 star hotel. My guy had points, a great hotel, yet immense. I’d rather walk along the streets of La Serenissima then through a hotel.
After seeing a few friends on facebook off to Venice, thought it was the right time for a recommendation. And I have one; AC Hotel in Venice. Rates are reasonable, it’s modern and the location is key. You can drive to Venice, park at Roma garage and 10 minutes later you’re at the hotel. If you train, same amount of time so you don’t have to figure out the public transport (you can do that later) and once you’re settled in, Venice is at your feet.
Let’s me walk to a favorite part of Venice, near Osteria Enoteca Ai Artisti, great bookstores and dark atmospheric bars full of locals, and Leonardi di Vinci museum.
