Joy and wonder, and pathological grief. A trip that became an odyssey, lasting 20 years. We finally settled down in Piemonte.

Travel changed my perspective, living in Piemonte for 7 years transformed my life. So I wrote about it – my next book is called, “Personal Legends of Piemonte”.

In this wicked, wicked world I offer you an idyllic place to escape and it’s called Piemonte, and it is enchanting. I had to cross the pond and live half dozen european capitals before I found my bliss. The 12 people I interviewed for this book didn’t have to move a mile.

Wrote a story around the interviews, creating a 7 year pilgrimage because that’s what it felt like. I wasn’t in search of penance or a blessing but the lessons learned will linger for a lifetime.
